How to Boost Your Horse’s Wellbeing

Without Losing Your Mind (or Your Budget!)

Ever wondered if your horse might be bored at times?

Do they seem restless, flat or quick to become frustrated — even when their basic needs are met?

Are you ever left thinking:

  • “I’d love to do more for them, but I’m not sure what that looks like…”

  • “I’ve heard of enrichment, but isn’t that just for zoos or fancy set-ups?”

  • “I want to improve their wellbeing, but I don’t have endless time or money.”

You’re not alone.

Many horse owners care deeply, but feel stuck between good intentions and practical solutions. Let’s be honest — life doesn’t always make it easy for horses to express natural behaviours, stay mentally stimulated or just feel like a horse.

But, what if you could:

  • Understand what your horse really needs to thrive

  • Feel confident making changes that support their wellbeing

  • Watch your horse become more relaxed, engaged and content

  • Add fun, purpose and creativity to your routine — for both of you?

That’s exactly what this workshop is designed to help with.

After the workshop, you’ll walk away with:

  • A clear understanding of why enrichment matters — backed by behavioural science

  • Ideas for low-cost, easy-to-implement activities you can try straight away

  • A personalised enrichment plan tailored to your horse’s needs and your set-up

  • A fresh perspective on how you can enhance your horse’s life in simple, powerful ways

It’s not just theory — it’s real, practical help that transforms how you keep, train and relate to your horse

Why Book Me?

Because I get it.

I know that you want the best for your horse. I also know you’re juggling yard time, work, life and probably a few well-meaning voices telling you to just “go back to basics.” However, modern horsekeeping is evolving — and you're part of that change.

I make behaviour science easy to understand, practical to apply and genuinely fun to learn. You’ll leave the workshop not only inspired, but equipped with tools you can start using right away. No jargon. No judgement. Just ideas that work and support that sticks with you.

This workshop is about giving you and your horse the chance to thrive — and to enjoy the journey along the way.

FAQs

Is this suitable for beginners or non-professionals?

Yes! Whether you're new to enrichment or looking to expand your knowledge, this workshop is designed for all experience levels. It’s jargon-free and totally accessible.

Can you run this at my livery yard or riding school?

Absolutely — it’s ideal for yards with curious clients who want to do more for their horses. I just need a covered area, seating and access to a stable or paddock (without a horse in it).

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself! If you’re hosting, I ask that you provide chairs (or let your group know to bring their own). I’ll bring everything else.

How many people can take part?

An ideal group size is around 10 participants to ensure everyone gets the most from the session, however we do take booking for larger groups. If you’d like to run multiple sessions in a day, let’s chat — we're happy to discuss options.
