The Happy Horse Workshop

Learn how to use horse behaviour science to enhance your horse's wellbeing. By making simple additions to the horse's environment (enrichment), you can mimic the horse's natural habitat and expand the range of behaviours they can engage in.

The Happy Horse Workshop is a travelling workshop, so I come to you. Whether you're a small group of friends looking to build ideas or a large Equestrian Centre with a host of keen clients, provided you've got basic requirements, I'll bring along my complete workshop tool-kit.

During the 2 hour workshop, you'll:

Learn about the purpose & value of enrichment
Understand different types of enrichment
Gain ideas for enrichment activities
Look at enrichment on a budget
Build your own enrichment programme

To allow you to get the most from the workshop session, there is have a maximum group size of 10 people per session. However, I can run multiple sessions in a day.

The standard price of the workshop is £29 per person, with a minimum group size of 4 people.

A booking deposit of £30 is required, with the remaining amount payable on the day of the workshop.

Within a 20 mile radius of Bracknell, Berkshire, there is no charge for travel. However, if the venue is over 20 miles from Bracknell, travel charges may apply.

The basic requirement to run a workshop session includes a covered area suitable for the group size, chairs for the group (or clients can bring their own), use of a stable and/or a grazing area (both without a horse in) and
preferably
an electrical socket.

The workshop content is appropriate for those aged 14+. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
